Mind Body

Mind Body refers to health approaches that consider Mind and Body to be indivisible parts of a whole person.
Under this perspective, the causes of physical illness are not restricted to physical agents only; a person’s emotions and lived experience have an important role to play in the occurrence and perpetuation of disease.
Mind Body also contemplates that past trauma and difficult current situations are registered in the body and can be addressed through the body. Illness is therefore seen as an opportunity to identify and understand what struggles call to be released.
The Mind Body practitioner then assists the client transform those negative experiences in order to facilitate their healing at all levels.
